Summary This book is about a girl named June. When she goes to her swimming practice she meets a girl named June like her. June thought they both were going to be friends, but the other June didn’t have that same thought. The other June teased her. In the story it says, “June is my name and I don’t give you permission to use it. Your name is Fish Eyes.” She also said “Fish Eyes you are really stupid!” The Other June was always bullying June; June was getting tired of her insults. At the end, June was brave and gave this a stop! She said “Oh No! No! No! No! No more!” June was brave and the Other June's eyes bugged out and she stopped bullying her.

Character Analysis From the story “Tuesday of the Other June” by Norman Fox Mazer, June proves to be brave and kind. June was brave when she stood up to the Other June; her bully, when she says “No, oh no! No, No, No, No more.” just as said in the story. June also proves to be kind because June’s mother repeatedly told June “Be good my Junie” and even though June was being bullied she tried to make friends with the Other June and even gets to defend herself while still being good. If June was not brave she would not have stood up to the Other June and if she was not kind, June would not have defended herself while still being her mother’s “good June”. As you can see June, from ”Tuesday of the Other June” by Norman Fox Mazer proves to be brave and kind. |
 Recommendation and Rating Rate 1-5: We give it a 4. Would you like to have a twin? In this story “Tuesday of the other June” they’re not exactly twins but they have the same name. This book is very interesting. The reason why this book is very interesting is because from something really dumb like having the same name, June can be bullied. So you should sit down and read this wonderful book. This book has a bullying theme. If you would like to see how a girl teases another one just because they have the same name, trust us: this is the perfect book. Also you’ll get to picture what June has to suffer. You should really read this book! It’s amazing!
